In addition to enabling wireless connections in outdoor environments, WEA 463e eliminates the physical restrictions of wired backhaul while reducing the overall cost of deployment without compromising the security and reliability of a wired network.

This makes it resilient through a variety of unpredictable environments. The WEA463e offers 802.11ac Wi-Fi connectivity, supports dual bands (2.4GHz/5GHz) with 3×3 Multi Input Multi Output (MIMO), delivering a data rate of up to 1.3 Gbps in 5GHz band.

The strength of WEA463e access point lies in its wireless mesh routing capability that ensures minimum latency and high reliability by selecting an optimized path based on link quality and number of hops. Mesh routing also ensures automatic recovery by routing around link failures or link degradation caused by RF interference.

Samsung Access Points use Intelligent Beam Selectable Antenna (IBSA) technology to facilitate networks in which multiple devices require concurrent access. By optimizing its radio frequency (RF) pattern with a number of physical antennas, coverage is extended, sensitivity is improved, and speed and reliability remain uncompromised.

The three-stream WEA463e 802.11ac access point supports more concurrent devices and higher throughput than single and double-stream APs, making it ideal for high-density environments. It supports the latest 802.11ac ready devices, but is also backwards-compatible to support older devices with the 802.11 a/b/g/n standard. With six external antennas, the WEA463e has beam-forming capabilities for directional signal transmission.
